Maria S. Drousiotou was born in Nicosia, Cyprus on May 10, 1962. She has a 12 year old daughter, Myria, who graduated the Junior School in Nicosia and is currently in year 7 at the Senior School, Nicosia.

It was her daughter’s suggestion and wish to create a website to exhibit her work in Art and Tales. As Myria says, her mother is not only a good mother but a talented mother also.

Maria thanks Myria and in return encourages her daughter to draw and write in her spare time.

Educational Background

1980 graduated the Economic Lyceum, Nicosia, Cyprus
1980-1982 studied Fine Arts at the University of Davis, in California, majoring in Art Studio.
1984-1985 attended Liberal Art Classes at Coe College, Iowa, USA

- Employee at the Co-operative Savings Bank of Ayios Dhometios Nicosia.
- Administrator co-founder for Unifast Finance and Investments ltd with her father
  S. Ph. Droussiotis
- Accountant for Droushia Heights Hotel co. ltd.
- Administrator of Droushia Heights HTL co ltd. Shares Department.
- Director of Jinaro Terra Investments co ltd.
- Administrator of the family company in Nicosia - till present.
